| Posted: 05 Nov 2020 12:29 PM PST Hey you all, over night when I shut down my PC my BF4 was damaged on my harddrive. I can use every folder on my harddrive except the BF4 folder in my steam library. When I want to open it it says "File damaged and unable to read". I wanted to reinstall the game but steam doens't let me because I can't delete the game or the folder. I have all treibers up to date and I haven't had something like this happen in my life. Can anybody pls help? [link] [comments] | ||

So bf4 has standard edition and a premium one. I've read that all the dlcs for bf4 became free and I was wondering why there is still the premium edition available. | Can’t install help! SSD read only Posted: 04 Nov 2020 11:12 PM PST Read only problems When i try to install in my d drive ssd, origin says that it's not possible because it's read only. I have tried to remove the read only attribute to this folder so many times but after it's done with the process, the tick mark magicly reappears. I also enabled full control in security properties but still nothing. I'm completely capeable of making changes to the drive and steam has no problem installing games either. Oculus says the same thing tho so i don't know... I had battlefront 2 and bf4 downloaded to the drive on my earlier system and after locating the games on the D drive in origin i'm also able to play these games. just not install for some reason. I also had a problem where origin would crash on startup all the time when i tried to locate bf4 but that got fixed after i deleted a whole bunch of origin files/cache. Now something called touchup keeps popping up asking for permission to make changes to the computer though.
