Game launching to browser after update [POSSIBLE FIX] Posted: 21 Oct 2020 04:05 PM PDT After the last Origin update I saw a lot of people posting about this: here's what I did to fix it for myself, can't guarantee this working for everybody Battlefield 4 launches in browser if you're set to launch in x86 mode, and launches in game with x64 mode, but after this update it makes you go to browser even if you were already in x64 mode: 1) Launch Origin 2) Go to your game library 3) Right click on Battlefield 4 and click "Game properties" 4) Click on "Advanced Launch Options" 5) Switch to x86 mode (first option) and launch the game. The game should still launch in browser 6) Close the browser and switch this option back to x64 7) Close and re-open Origin and launch the game, it should launch as normal now If this doesn't work for you I'm sorry, but this is what worked for me submitted by /u/z_derApfel [link] [comments]
