Why isn't Rush/Breakthrough more popular? Posted: 25 Aug 2020 07:28 AM PDT Or maybe it is, idk. I've been playing the BF series on and off since 2. I'm not a vet but I know a little bit about the series, just played it for fun mostly. I never really asked myself this question until realizing Breakthrough is almost dead in BF5. But Conquest is alive and kicking (for the most part) and it's split into 2 different conquests (strategic and tactical). I feel pushing and defending with your entire team is far more rewarding than the all around randomness of Conquest. That and running back and forth all the time. Has it always been this way or what? The only major downside of Rush are the bottlenecks where everyone dies every half a second due to grenade spam but that just makes it so much more enjoyable and fun. It's has its own uniqueness. Really brings back the good old days of Wolfenstein ET or TF2. [link] [comments]

Posted: 25 Aug 2020 07:56 AM PDT What do you all think the reason for releasing BF3 Remastered ALONGSIDE with BF6 could be? Wouldn't that hurt BF6 sales? Do you think they somehow tie together into the same client? How will we decide what to play! [link] [comments]

Battlefield 3 campaign is still amazing nine years later Posted: 24 Aug 2020 05:16 PM PDT I have recently installed BF3 for some old nostalgic multiplayer fun durning quarantine and holy cow did I forget how much of a rollercoaster its campaign was. The first three missions alone are filled with such intense action. Between the gunfights, subways in New York, navigating alley ways, and disarming an IED, I was having such an amazing time. Then the story started to take "the spin" (for those of you who have played, you know what I mean). I am so sad I forgot how outstanding this game was and is! If you haven't tried BF3, the community is still really active in xbox too! Definitely worth a cheap buy to try it out. Edit: after just finishing a few more of the missions, I also forgot how emotionally charged some of the missions in this campaign had. Ex: the ending to Miller's mission. [link] [comments]
