    So I fired the game up today to try out this new map and I can BARELY get 60fps now... I have everything set to low. I have all the silly things like film grain and aberration and whatever turned off.

    I've always struggled to keep it at 144fps... but now it barely gets that.

    I tried setting it from 1440p to 1080p to see if that helps and it actually got worse

    I have it on DX11, because in the past DX12 was way worse.

    I'm currently on an i7-7700k, GTX 1080ti with 64GB of RAM and the install is on a RAID 0 NVMe setup.

    I have the latest Nvidia drivers.

    I'm at the end of my rope here. I just want to give this game one last chance with the updates before installing, but I literally can't play when it's barely getting 60fps and dipping below 30fps CONSTANTLY

    It's impossible to aim when it stutters that hard.

    I ensured that Nvidia DSR was disabled. I've disabled Origin overlay.

    I even put my CPU back to stock clock speeds in the past (which actually helped a lot in BF1)

    Just saw a random YouTube video for this and it looks really cool. Is there a campaign? Can you play it with AI bots? I'm not a big fan of online. Is Battlefield 2 for free anywhere? If not, where do you buy it? Looks like an awesome mod for real. Is there a Commander role in it?

    [question] My first BF game

    So I finally got a decent enough PC to be able to handle a Battlefield game, so I'm now wondering: Battlefield 1 or Battlefield V? I've played both betas when they came out in PS4 so I don't know the state of each game now. To be honest I prefer BF1 aesthetic and gunplay but which game has better expansions and content overall? My other concern is if I'll be able to find active players in BF1 or if I'm going to wait 30 minutes to find a game since it's older. Btw if I get BF1 I'll buy the Revolution edition.

    [BF1942] Does anyone have tips on dive bombing using airplanes?

    I've been playing BF1942 for a few days now, but I have trouble mastering dive bombing. The only reasons I'm using planes now is to only airdrop myself in emergencies.
