    Ok hopefully that got your attention. Basically, I see someone come on here every so often promoting their new server they just bought. I'm here to tell you the sad truth. Unless you have previous experience running a bf4 server you will never get it filled.

    You know that annoying fake player count thing everyone complains about?

    Yeah that's pretty much mandatory to get your server off the ground. And to actually acquire the means to do that is a lot harder than you think.

    That's just the first of many hurdles in running a bf4 server in 2020. Unless you have copious amounts of time to research all this and plenty of money to potentially waste if it doesn't it work DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

    As good as this community can be simply buying a server installing a few basic plugins and promoting it on reddit will never be enough to get it full. Your server will 100% sit at 0/64 for the month you paid for it.

    TLDR: Starting a new bf4 server is much harder than just buying one. Don't waste your money.

    Okay, so i have been playing BF4 more now than ever before. Everything goes fine until i try to join one spesific server. I have tried to join it a few times, because its Rush with all the maps. And not just the vanilla stuff. I always get the "you have lost connection to session". After that i have to restart the game to play on another server.

    Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

    Ther server i want to join btwn is arp-platton. A german server.

    (Specific Map) All Day servers

    Why is there such an over abundance of servers that play on only one map all day? (other than for the people who camp in the same spot every time) Am I the only one that would prefer the servers that play ALL the maps?

    Basically, BF4 is on sale. I got the premium version, and installed it all. I have played this a long time ago, so I have a few levels. Any time I try to play any dlc maps, it says I need to own it, but Everytime I click on the dlc, it says I already own it. I deleted my previous save data, but that didn't fix the problem. Playing on Xbox as well.

    Any Xbox hardcore servers that run minimap on as well?

    I got into Battlefield with 3 and 3's hardcore allowed the use of a minimap. Does buying your own server allow you to do the same on 4? And if so are there any that currently have it that are active and have a decent map rotation? I'm coming back to 4 after a year or so away and I'd love to get myself a dedicated server.
