[BFV] My guesses for the new Theatre of War for BFV.

We all know that BFV now needs a new expansion or theatre of war. From what I know, dice said that each theatre of war will be based in ascending order 1939,1940 to 1945. So far we have got the content for 1939 and 1940. 1940's december month saw war between USA and Japan. Taking this as consideration, the next front should be Eastern Front. On 22 June, 1941, Germany invaded USSR, so expect Germany vs Russia for next front, in 1943, the Allies invaded Italy and in 1945, Allies invaded Germany. So we still need two more factions, USSR and Italy respectively for this game.

[BF4] My modern Battlefield concept / Part 2: Squads and Soldier classes

This is a fan-made concept for the next 2021 release Battlefield. None of this is confirmed and solely based off my fantasy, but feel free share your feedback and ideas in the comments.

Squads

Squads are now at the size of five players. You can spawn on your squadmates if not in combat. Players can also get revived by their Squadmates, even if they aren't a medic. As always the squad leader can order his troops to defend a friendly objective. Accomplishing the orders grants the whole squad points. Supplying and reviving squadmates gives you double the points normal teammates give you. Staying together with your squad also grants you points over time. These squad points can be used by the squad leader to call in reinforcements.

Squad reinforcements

Supply Drop

Cost: 5000 Points

The supply drop replenishes soldiers from the air with medical supplies and ammo and gadget refills.

UARV

Cost: 7.500 Points

The Unmanned Aerial Reconnaissance Vehicle can be called in to circle an area of the Battlefield and spot enemies, vehicles and gadgets.

Smoke Barrage

Cost: 10.000 Points

The Smoke Barrage can be called in to create a Wall of smoke in a straight line to provide cover and distraction.

EMP UAV

Cost: 15.000 Points

The EMP UAV can be called in to an area of the battlefield and disable all gadgets, UAV's and electronic optics.

Additional vehicle spawn

Cost: 20.000 Points

The Additional Vehicle Spawn enables a supplementary vehicle spawn for one squad member.

Pararescue Beacon

Cost: 35.000 Points

The Pararescue Beacon can be placed for 10 Teammates and Squadmates to spawn behind enemy lines.

Missile Strike

Cost: 40.000 Points

The Missile strike deploys powerful long range missile that can strike targets across the whole map.

Assault Class

The assault specializes in pushing the frontline forward and offensive destruction.

Weapons: Assault Rifles, SMG's, Carbines,
Gadget 1: Greande Launchers, Bangalore,
Gadget 2: Riot Shield, Tank Track Busters (Satchel charge),
Perks: Ammo Loot , 10% Increased Sprint, Faster start of regeneration,

Medic Class

The Medic specializes in medical treatment of wounded and knocked out soldiers.

Weapons: DMR's, Semi-Auto-Rifles, Carbines,
Gadget 1: Bandages, Medical Crate,
Gadget 2: Smoke Launcher, Tear gas Launcher, Mobile cover,
Perks: 25% Less Fall-damage, 10% Increased self-heal, 10% Less Supression,

Engineer Class

The Engineer specializes in friendly Vehicle support and enemy Vehicle destruction.

Weapons: LMG'S, PDW's, Shotguns,
Gadget 1: Tank Ammo Crate, Repair Tool,
Gadget 2: Heavy RPG's, Tank Mines, C4,
Perks: 10% Faster vehicle gunner reload, Hit vehicles get spotted, 10% Increased Repair,

Support Class

The Support specializes in ammo supply and defensive tactics.

Weapons: LMG's, MMG'S, Shotguns,
Gadget 1: Ammo Pouch, Ammo Crate,
Gadget 2: Light RPG's, Trophy system, Anti-Air Mine,
Perks: Suppression effect spots, 10% Less Supression, Sitting in a vehicles supplies ammo,

Recon

The Recon specializes in long range combat and the gathering of intel.

Weapons: Bold-Action-Rifles, DMR's,
Gadget 1: Movement sensor, Flare Pistol, Claymore,
Gadget 2: Spawn beacon, Reconnaisance Drone,
Perks: Team beacon Spawn, Less Footstep noise, Cut and reopen Parachute,

With over 300 hours played on bf5 and the lack of content I'm kind of getting bored playing. I haven't had the luxury to play past bf game as I do now with a custom looped pc but Ive been wanting to play some modern bf shooters. And I don't want to wait till 2021 for the next game. Is bf4 still any good? How's the lobbies occupied. Do people still play bf4? US Servers

[bfv] What melee weapon type in BfV do you prefer and why do you prefer it?

I like my cricket bat a lot but I can almost never get a kill animation while an enemy is facing me. I changed to a short knife and I actually survive some melee on melee encounters. I just got the Okinawa Machete, I'm curious to see if it's the same as knifes.
