Trying to get back into the series where should I start?[other]

    Posted: 14 Feb 2020 08:56 AM PST

I recently got an Xbox one and was looking into getting back into their series. Should I get BF5 even in its current state or get one of the older title like BF1 or 4? I'm not looking to buy dlc cause I feel like I'll impulse buy if I get killed by a ribeyrolles in bf1 or an AWS in bf4

    [BF1] Favorite Operation(s)?

    Posted: 13 Feb 2020 07:41 PM PST

As the title shows, I want to know what your favorite operation from BF1's lifespan was as they had so much effort visibly put into them and offered a pretty good deal of immersion.

My favorite operation has to be Brusilov Offensive. The intros on both sides that reflected the attitudes of the failing Russian war effort and Austro-Hungarian need to hold the line set the tone for the battle. The settings of Galicia and Brusilov Keep add to the chaos of the battlefield, especially whenever the battle got to the intense church ruins sector of Keep. The feeling of ordering the troops while your whistle blows, the men yell, and above all, Johan Sunderqvist's amazing soundtrack to the operation adds so much intensity and immersion, especially at the end of the round and on the final objectives/spawns. The armored train behemoth was also a big plus.

So come on r/bf, explain which operation stood out most to you, I'm curious to hear your responses.

[DICE] Give us a modern Battlefield title with Leopard 2 tanks.

I'm tired with these same old M1 and T-90 tanks. Give us more to choose from.

[BF3] Having a blast in BF4 compared to BFV, is it worth checking out BF3?

    Posted: 13 Feb 2020 03:51 PM PST

I've been loving BF4 EXCEPT for the vehicles. I can die to 10 different people, and die to 10 different guns too (I remember 1 month ago all I died to was type 2a on BFV, not sure if that's changed). I just love the gunplay. Although, on some maps, decent heli pilots are unkillable even with coordinated squads (dawnbreaker, shanghai and a few more). Tanks aren't as bad, but I want to go assault for it's my favorite class. I do my best to avoid tnanks and focus on infantry combat, but sometimes tanks just roll in and I feel helpless. That being said, infantry v infantry feels amazing and is keeping me sucked in. I played BF3 long long time ago on the PS3 (I was young and have forgotten a lot since then), but I want to know if it's worth going back into BF3 for the PC. As someone who hates vehicles, would you recommend BF3 to someone over BF4? I don't like vehicles, but it's not THAT bad of a hatred to keep me from enjoy BF4, I just want to know if there's a better experience for me in BF3. Thanks a ton!
