    I haven't touched a battlefield game in 2 years. I had 2000+ hours on BF3 and only 500 on BF4. Decided to finally reinstall the game and it feels like heaven.

    I've been digging through Battlelog and Reddit posts from several years ago to try and get caught up on all of the changes to bolt action rifles since I left. Information seems.. scarce. It does looks like the Scout Elite got slaughtered by the 2015 Spring patch, reducing the ROF from 63 to 42? Really DICE?

    Anyways, do any aggressive recon BAR users out there have any recommendations for a rifle you can be successful with in an up close and personal sort of playstyle (25-100m)? I see the bullet velocity on the CS-LR4 was upped quite a bit, but the ROF still looks sluggish. Is the answer here simply the M40A5 because of the ROF?

    Does anyone else get the Port 3659 issue?

    It's weird. My ports are open, and I've tried every solution I could find. I usually have to wait months for it to fix itself. It first happened late last year, then randomly started working again. Now it stopped working again. I contacted my ISP, my modem / router manufacturer, watched many YouTube videos, etc.. and nothing has worked.

    I'm curious if this happens to anyone else?

    Is Mantle in 2020 on BF4 possible?

    I wanna know is there any way to enable Mantle on BF4 in this day and age and make it work somehow? I'm super curious as i'm running an all AMD system from the stone age, so i know that using mantle would boost my fps significantly, as i saw the boost from vulkan on newer games and honestly vulkan is just a successor of mantle from what i've read on forums pages and so on.

    It would be super interesting to see if anyone knows any way of enabling Mantle. :)

    I'm on ps4. Every single time I join a match, it starts bugging out and I lose connection. Haven't played in a while & now I can't even join any games. Does anyone have a solution to this bullshit?

    Redownloaded BF4 on PC and I keep getting Error code: 1

    I can't find any solid fixes on this? I've done everything I can think of and have redownloaded everything twice and it still won't let me connect to any servers. I've tried quickplay and browse servers but nothing works.

    It just keeps saying "An unknown error occurred." and "Error code:1"

    Is the servers just screwing with me or is there something I need to fix? It seems this is a common issue in multiple games, not just bf4.
