| Completely awed about vQ37, seriously Posted: 28 Jan 2020 06:47 PM PST Got into the interest of playing BF4 again, went on vQ37 since they offer my favorite map on rotation with other nice things and I remember playing on their servers in the past. Operating as an AA effectively helped my team not deal with enemy air, I was warned then I asked for further explanation. Didn't get it with the exception of some child saying I was trolling and didn't know the English language because I mentioned I was not familiar with 'BF4 language' (such as warn messages, etc.) I was eventually kicked and headed over to their Discord on a friend's account (my other account was banned yesterday for reporting someone?). Eventually DMing a staff member who seemed generally nice however back in their Discord, AluminumPint started asking what I needed help with which I replied that I was speaking to someone already. From this point forward, I 'wasted' his time, despite me saying no further help is needed, and then banned me so easily. I came back on an alt this time. I realized he was way older than I expected (I thought he was like 13). I told him he acted with the god complex of a 12 yr old and mentioned that he needed help after he he was incompetent of understanding something very simple. Such a complete joke. | How could DICE fuck the balancing up so much? Bit of a long rant. Posted: 28 Jan 2020 04:32 PM PST New player perspective. Last BF I played was BC2 that had its problems but nothing like this iirc. More often than not the teams are stacked making it for a miserable game where sometimes you're struggling to get past the nearest objective and then when you do you get battered. Spawn struggle die repeat. There is of course sometimes a lack of teamwork to blame as sometimes all you need is two on javelins and two recons marking vehicles/aircraft to push them back, but often its just that the best high level players have remained together. The top 5-10 players in each team seem to determine the outcome and the rest outliers that influence how much you win or lose by. I honestly don't know what the fix is but it surely must involve disbanding the squads at the end of each match then letting them reform. I know they wanted a social aspect to it but most clans are large enough to have four on each side and there is often free slots for people to swap if they're quick enough. I've actually started dropping out of squads close to the end or not joining one at all so I dont get continually dumped on the worst team because I'm simply not good enough to be able to enjoy playing on a team thats getting hammered. My game doesnt improve and its frustrating and annoying. So I hang at the boundaries annoying the pilots with stingers trying to lure them into my missiles or resort to practicing sniping. I think this is also because of how old the game is, good experienced players will hang around because they enjoy playing, its natural to stick at things you're good at. The majority that played go on to other games leaving a mix of skill levels and experience distributed among one or two servers. But its not like they will change anything now. That aside I also wish they had one seat attack boats like the AA tank its annoying when people jump on then ppppppppppbbbbbbbb on the minigun to get you to move somewhere or GOGOGO as you are stalking from distance with TV missiles, which are so much fun.
