    I am a battlefield fanatic from SA. And around 2 days ago, out of the blue they completely shut down our servers, and now we have to play with 200 ping. This isn't common knowledge because we are a small community, but honestly that was one of the highlights of my day and it's now been taken away from effectively an entire continent. I am furious and just wanted to share this.

    A petition has been started to help get our servers back. I know it probably doesn't mean much to the overall bfv community but if you could just take a little time out of your day to help our small community it would mean a lot.

    You'll find the petition on the Battlefield South Africa Facebook page (subreddit doesn't allow links) or by simply Googling 'bfv sa servers closed' and it should be the first thing in the results.

    I know this is a long shot and probably asking a lot from DICE, but it would be amazing if they could go back to their roots with slower paced gameplay and leave Call of Duty to Call of Duty. BF has been my favorite franchise since I started playing the original 1942. And I have been disappointed the last few years as this franchise drifts further and further away from what it used to be. I've been dreaming of a 2143 ever since the final stand DLC pack from BF4 almost 7 years ago at this point. I'd love to hear other people's thoughts.
