    [BFV] A different kind of WW2 game

    So this is an idea for a BF5 like game. The current game is getting closer to Fortnite than an actual WW2 game in my opinion.

    Unfortunately, I believe that it is too late to fix it. Like many companies, at some point, the company sold out for profits, which, ironically, probably has decreased the game's profitability.

    Here is the deal. I have a dream to create something like BF5, but different. Essentially a new WW2 game that is more historically accurate and more difficult to play. Therefore, I would love to hear your feedback if you would ever consider playing/buying the game.

    Here is what the game would have:

    · No unrealistic weapon mods. All weapons will be original weapons. What I could consider would be cool engravings or small attachments that would make your gun your own.

    · Character mods would be possible, but realistic and logical. Your uniform would have your rank (see below for ranking system) and the uniform would have to fit your combat role and rank.

    · New ranking system. Making a level from 1-xx makes no sense. Instead, you would actually earn a real rank as you level up. For example for Germany: Soldat, obersoldat, unteroffizier and so on.

    · Intelligent and comprehensive voice commands. How come there is not even a voice command for "Look out!" or "Tank incoming!"? You feel like a Neanderthal with the current commands. I have a lot of different ideas here, but essentially it should enable players to coordinate attacks and call out dangers.

    · No TTK tweaks. Obviously. Maybe there is a way to work out a realistic way of when you get shot, you are actually hurt instead of the current state where you take a shot to the head and you just heal right up if you have a medic pack.

    · Artillery. Artillery would be behind the spawning points and require a crew to fire. The crew would receive actual coordinates from the soldiers in the frontline, load the artillery and FIRE. Thus, it becomes a coordination exercise between soldiers on the frontline and the artillery crew.

    · Combat roles, but different. Actual combat roles based on what existed in WW2. For example, artillery officer, frontline officer, medic, radio officer, anti-tank crew, engineers, cavalry reconnaissance, mountain infantry and so on. As a frontline officer, you would have only a pistol, but the ability to scold soldiers hiding behind trenches and calling in reinforcements, air support.

    · Bring back friendly fire. No more players just spam shooting, you have to think where you shoot. Some kind of penalty would have to control friendly fire, maybe the frontline officer would find out and shoot you for treason? I don't know.

    · Decrease the availability and amount of ammo. Many times soldiers did not have enough ammo, forcing them to make intelligent decisions about when and where to shoot. This would also slow the pace of the game somewhat, which I think again would make it more historically accurate and better.

    Other features

    · Weapon jamming. This is controversial, but when I have seen videos of weapons from WW2, they jam all the time. The current state of BF5 is like a CS gungame deathmatch, making it cringely unrealistic in my opinion. Hence, there would be a low, but real chance that your weapon would jam. When it jams, I imagine at least two options, hold X key to try and fix the gun or you could try to charge the opponent if they are close.

    · Charging. So I don't remember which CoD game, but there was this mission where you charged with fellow Russians which gave you actual goosebumps and adrenaline. This needs to return! Imagine a rousing speech by an American commander before charging the cliffs of France or a German officer sending you into the ruins of Stalingrad.

    · Better hand-to-hand combat. As weapons jammed frequently, I imagine hand-to-hand combat was also a big element in WW2. This could be improved upon, and there is nothing more satisfying than getting a melee kill after a swift hand-to-hand battle.

    · Officer mini-games. Many battles of WW2 did not happen on the battlefield, but in communication bunkers, radar stations, intelligence offices etc. Imagine running around a bunker having to pass on vital information while the lamps inside the bunker rattle with each artillery shell landing nearby. I have a lot of ideas for how to make these games fun, like for example having to deal with an incompetent superior officer, having to actually fix broken equipment and fixing radio lines being cut etc.

    · Other mini-games. Another mini-game could be being a military officer trying to find German-collaborators or as the Germans, finding saboteurs. I imagine it like a puzzle-game/escape room where you would need to find clues.

    · Bring back an only air-to-air battle like in the original BF games.

    These are just some of the ideas I have. It is very ambitious, but I might as well dream big.

    I am considering dedicating the next years of my life to making this game a reality, but first, what do you think? I am open to your ideas and feedbacks. <3

    Have you guys noticed, how the game became infested with cheaters for the last couple of days?

    Today, it took me 4 tries with quickmatch to find a suitable server where, there was no obviously shameless cheating going on.

    Seriously DICE needs to step up for once and focus on real problems, instead of twisting the weapon balance nonstop. The game is nearly unplayable and nothing but pure irritation like this.

    The more time I spend in BF5 the more certain I am about skipping the next BF, regardless what it might be. This game is just ridiculous in almost every regard...

    Hi everyone, I played a ton of bf1 and really enjoyed the game, the atmosphere. Thé operations game mode etc.

    I didn't buy bf5 after all the backlash the community gave it. But my question is with the year 2 edition, in what state is thé game atm ?

    Are there multiple factions in MP? Do they have the right equipment and uniforms. Can woman screams be disabled? Overall how is thé game (MP) in its current state?

    [Battlefield 1] Battlefield 1 premium pass not working

    I got the premium pass on battlefield 1 for free during the marketing for battlefield V. I uninstalled the game to make space for new games. Recently, I re-uninstalled it, however, I can't use any of the premium content (maps, weapons, etc.) It even says that I have premium on the top right of the screen and I also have the online receipt with me that says I purchased the pass. How can I reactivate my premium pass if at all?

    I use ps4 if that matters

    Ok so i got banned in the 24/7 rock n roll old locker server like 1 or 2 years ago does somebody know if i can get unbanned or do they have a site or a discord so i can contact them . I got banned for offensive nickname but ive changed it a long time ago .

    As the title says, i'm looking for the most active BF multiplayer. I need a good FPS multiplayer to sink some time into and have really only played some single player BF. I have seen people hating on the newer games and all that so i'm hesitant to just buy outright. I don't care what the theme is, WW1 or current or future or whatever.

    Suggestions?
